Distinctive Mid Century Asheville Homes, Featured Listing, Mid Century Home Renovation, mid-century modern homes for sale

Brick Ranch Transformed

My friend and colleague, Vanessa Byrd, is an experienced and very talented designer/renovator. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in interior design and has lived in Asheville most of her life. She began renovating homes in 1997 and, in 2004, won the Griffin Award for Historic Preservation for a home in Asheville’s historic Kenilworth neighborhood. These days Vanessa also has a very successful home staging business, Asheville Home Staging. This is Vanessa’s most recent renovation in Weaverville

Have you ever thought how great it would be to see the ugliest house on your block renovated? That’s exactly what happened here – this unattractive 1964 ranch home doesn’t show much promise but Vanessa used her vision and creative design skills and made it a reality!

From Eyesore to Stunning Modern Showstopper!

What a wonderful space! The very best part of the renovation is a vaulted ceiling creating an interesting exterior roof-line angle as well as a spacious great room with windows galore.

Wonderful Built-Ins and Exposed Brick!

Lovely teak wood flooring compliments a bright and open floor plan with easy access to a new deck. 1744 square feet of perfect one-level living!

Three beautifully renovated bedrooms and two bathrooms include a primary suite.

A new metal roof and spacious deck complete the transformation.

This special home is being sold with three or four acres. Mini farm? Family compound? Development opportunity? The possibilities are endless!

Contact me for more information. I’d be happy to schedule an in-person showing or a virtual preview for you. Carol 828-545-2712
