Biltmore Blooms – March 19 to May 26 This festival of flowers at the Biltmore Estate celebrates two months of spring blooms that include 75,000+ tulips, orchids, azaleas and elaborate floral displays.
Asheville Orchid Festival – Thursday, April 14 to Sunday, April 17 The Western NC Orchid Society hosts the 2016 American Orchid Society’s national spring meeting at the North Carolina Arboretum. Hundreds of orchids on display and for sale.
Asheville Herb Festival – Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1 Largest Herb Festival in the Southeast with 50+ herb businesses. Held at the WNC Farmer’s Market
LEAF Festival – Thursday, May 12, to Sunday, May 15 Enjoy the beauty of Lake Eden on the grounds of the historic Black Mountain College. Experience the power music, art and culture has to transform lives, strengthen community and foster unity.
River Arts District Studio Stroll – Saturday, May 21 to Sunday, May 22 Stroll the neighborhood and visit the studios. The River Arts District has more than 200 artists working in 22 studios, many are renovated industrial buildings.
Montford Music and Arts Festival – Saturday, May 21 The 13th annual music and arts festival held in Ashevilles historic Montford neighborhood. The festival has a new look with entertainment stages, artist and vendor booths, and central food court all now on one street, Montford Avenue
Mountain Sports Festival – Friday, May 27, to Sunday, May 29 The Mountain Sports Festival is a weekend music and sports festival that celebrates community, athletics and local business. Events in river racing, biking, rock climbing, even yoga!
Beer City Festival – Saturday, May 28 Beer City Festival brings the best local and regional breweries from Asheville and surrounding areas together for a great day of beer and music in downtown Asheville. This year’s event will feature over 32+ breweries.
